Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q:My new orthotics feel strange.  What should I do?

A:New orthotics should feel a little strange.  They are designed to put your foot in it’s optimal position.  Unless you have a perfectly shaped foot, you are going to notice a difference.  Many notice pressure near the arch of the foot- after following the proper break-in instructions, this foreign feeling will go away. Break-in takes about a week and we ask that you follow our instructions to avoid any possible discomfort or fatigue.

Q: There are already  insoles in my shoe.  Should I leave them there?

A:  If you are able remove the insoles, we recommend that you do so for more room in your shoes.  If you can’t take them out, not a problem- you may just need to loosen your laces a bit if the fit feels tight.  We ask that you give it a  full 7 days to see how your foot adjusts to the new fit.

Q: I want to order an additional pair.  Do I have to return to the office?

A: No. We keep your scans and order information on file for 5 years. Give us a call!

Q: Do you make orthotics for kids?

A: Yes!

Q: How long will my new orthotics last?

A: That all depends how on much you wear them! Some people and athletes change them as frequently as they buy shoes, but our product is designed to last for years under proper care.
